Local authorities arrested two individuals, both with a lengthy history of theft and criminal activity.
The culprits, a local male aged 40 and a local female aged 41 were were sentenced to a 30-day remand when presented to the Criminal Court on Tuesday, September 25.
The remand order stated that authorities had collected substantial evidence against the pair, warranting charges and a trial in court. Additionally, the remand order said that their detention was extended to prevent any potential tampering with evidence or further endangerment to the community.
The court order also observed that the duo had a lengthy history of criminal offenses, particularly theft. The police substantiated this during the remand hearing in court.
