Police have arrested a man who attempted to steal the motorcycle of Male' City Mayor Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
A man was trying to steal Muizzu's motorcycle while it was parked in the garage of his residence.
The police stated in the court that they stopped the man while he was dragging the motorcycle out of the garage and that the motorcycle belonged to Muizzu.
The Criminal Court has remanded the 35 year old Maldivian man arrested in connection to the case for 15 days.
