President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has commenced an official trip to Thaa Atoll for on Tuesday.
In this three day trip he will visit seven islands in the atoll. The President's Office said he would be visiting Thimarafushi first, followed by Kinbidhoo, Veymandoo, Vandhoo, Ka'ndoodhoo, and Gaadhiffushi.
In this trip he will visit state authorities and other organisations in he islands. He will also meet the teams in charge of running these institutions in addition to the Island Councils, and Women's Development Committees. He will also meet the local workforce which would include fishermen, farmers and business owners as well.
The president will also be inaugurating the newly developed harbour in Omadhoo, also in Thaa Atoll.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih had visited three islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll last month on an official trip as well.
