Some of the generators currently used by Fenaka are old and inefficient, causing electricity supply issues in many islands.
In an announcement released today, Fenaka said that they are seeking generators of between 250 kilowatts and 1600 kilowatts.
Bids will be accepted from both local and foreign companies. A fee of between USD 3000 and 5000 needs to be paid as bid security.

- 5 generator sets of 800 kilowatts
- 6 generator sets of 1000 kilowatts
- 5 generator sets of 1200 kilowatts
- 2 generator sets of 1600 kilowatts
Bid registration will be open from October 7 to 14, proposals are to be submitted on October 15 and 16.
Proposals from those who do not register, and those submitted late will not be accepted, Fenaka said. Any further information needed can be sought through emailing the company, they said.
