Teachers' Salary Structure Under Review Following Complaints

Education Minister Dr Ismail Shafeeu stated, "We are currently examining whether the recent adjustments to the teachers' pay structure need to be revised, particularly in response to the increase in complaints".

On May 1, 2022, under former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration, the salaries of all employees in the education sector were raised, and the pay structure was altered. This led to an increase in teachers' salaries.
