Tax Appeal Tribunal fired its registrar, Majida Majdy, on Tuesday for comments she had made on social media, raising questions about the legitimacy of the current administration and urging the public against paying any taxes.
In a statement, Tax Appeal Tribunal declared that such behaviour cannot be accepted from the registrar of the institution which looks into issues that arise between taxpayers and collectors.
Hence, all members of the tribunal had unanimously agreed to dismiss Majida Majdy in accordance with Subject 43 of the tribunal’s employee regulations.
