President Muizzu departs on a tour of Alifu Alifu and Kaafu atoll

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on an official visit to islands in Alifu Alifu and Kaafu atolls as part of a two day tour.

President Muizzu will visit several islands in Alifu Alifu atoll including Thoddoo, Rasdhoo, and Mathiveri. His schedule began with a visit to Thoddoo, where he met with the Women's Development Committee (WDC) before engaging with the island's residents. He is also set to visit Rasdhoo, where he will meet with the island council and the Ukulhas council. Later this evening, the President will travel to Mathiveri to meet with its island council, as well as WDC representatives from Himandhoo, Maalhos, Feridhoo, and Bodufolhudhoo. Tomorrow, President Muizzu will visit Kaafu Atoll, where he is scheduled to meet with the island councils and WDCs of Gaafaru, Huraa, and Himmafushi, according to the President's Office.
