Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has initiated the registration process for home cooks on their database.
In a recent announcement, the corporation highlighted that, despite the Small and Medium Enterprises Act not mandating registration for home-based businesses, BCC has decided to open registration for individuals operating in the smallest category to support and promote their ventures.
For this specific purpose, BCC has introduced a set of guidelines for the registration of home cooks on their database.
As per the outlined rules, only Maldivians aged 18 and above are eligible to register. The registrant should be a self-employed food producer, operating without hiring staff, with a primary goal of generating income. The nature of the work should involve 100% local participation.
The registration process has no specific deadline, and interested individuals can apply through https://forms.office.com/r/P6c8Zrik78.
For additional details, inquiries can be made via phone at 3305555 or by reaching out to [email protected], as stated by the BCC.
