49 local judges travel to India for training programme

Forty-nine judges from the Maldives on Sunday departed to Bophal, India for a five-day customised training and capacity building programme at the National Judicial Academy of India (NJAI).

Forty-nine judges from the Maldives on Sunday departed to Bophal, India for a five-day customised training and capacity building programme at the National Judicial Academy of India (NJAI).

The programme was initiated under an MoU signed in 2020 between NJAI and the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of Maldives. This is the first training programme for Maldivian judges held at the NJAI campus in India.
