Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has been accused of diagnosing a newborn child with ailments she does not have and for having prescribed medication to her under this wrongful diagnosis.

In a post on social platform X, the mother of the infant stated that the prescription issued by IGMH listed medication for many illnesses that the six day old girl was unafflicted with.

She maintained that the result of the reports did not indicate any such diseases and alleged that the hospital had mistaken her daughter with another infant.

"My baby was given antibiotics despite the her good health all this time," said the mother.

Photos of the medical prescriptions issued by the hospital indicated that the baby is afflicted with club foot or issues with her feet. However, this diagnosis was removed in the latest prescription.

IGMH has not responded to the allegations as of yet.
