Praise showered on young adult and student that had aided an injured man in an accident on Sunday afternoon.

Shahula Wajeeh, who had written an account of how the accident happened on Facebook, said a middle-aged man had gotten injured during a road accident. He was coming out of the carnival area and had fainted, causing the motorcycle to fall down. A woman was seated behind him on the vehicle.

Shahula, who was present at the petrol station across them to refuel her motorcycle, said the passenger had attempted to make sure the motorcycle did not fall.

Several people had gathered around the couple to assist the them, including Shahula and her child. This included a young man and a student from Arabiyya School who had been driving by when the accident happened.

The man moved the fallen to a recovery position after assessing the situation and had then proceeded to administer first aid. The student had put his school bag under the man's head to alleviate pressure.

Shahula and another person at the crowd had moved the motorcycle that was still on the man. They then put the man in a taxi even though they had called an ambulance prior, as they feared it may take a while to arrive on scene.

She had said she was proud of the way the student and the adult accompanying him had acted in such a critical moment.

"The nation needs people like you," she had said in her Facebook post.

Since she has made the post, it has received over a thousand shares, with the public dubbing them as "True Heroes".
