A level syllabus changed to Cambridge

Ministry of Education has decided to replace Edexcel syllabus currently taught at A level with Cambridge.

In a statement, the Ministry said that classes for Cambridge International A level will begin next academic year. The Cambridge International A level examination will be held in October/November 2023.

Cambridge syllabus based classes for grade 12 students will begin during 2024-2025.

The Cambridge International A Level examinations will be held in October 2025.

According to the Ministry, there will be no change in the exams for students studying in higher secondary education and those starting grade 11 this year.

However, the ministry's statement did not give a reason for the decision to change the syllabus.
