In an announcement by the council yesterday, they said that on occasion of the 59th Independence Day of Maldives, National Cadet Corp and MNDF will have a parade on Male' streets in the evening.
As managing traffic flow during this march will be challenging, vehicles are banned on Male' streets between 16:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs on Friday.
The official reception for Independence Day this year will be held at the Social Centre on Friday night.
