IGMH has stated one of the two injured in the violent altercation that occurred near the Shaheed Ali Mosque in Male' has been released after receiving treatment while the other still remains hospitalized at the ward due to injuries.
Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital has stated that the one of the people injured in the violent altercation that took place near Shaheed Ali Mosque in Male' is still receiving treatment at IGMH.
Two persons involved in the fight that occurred at 12:45 hrs yesterday afternoon were taken to IGMH due to their injuries.
One of the two has since been released from the hospital, said IGMH. Media official of IGMH stated that only one remains hospitalized for treatment, and that the person is undergoing treatment at the ward.
Mihaaru News reports that one of the involved had sustained injuries to the head while the other was injured on the shoulder.
Three violent altercations occurred over the past two days with the first taking place near Dharubaaruge, Male' City. The second fight occurred near Shaheed Ali Mosque in Male' after which another altercation occurred on Filigas Magu, Hulhumale'.
Those injured in these fights have since been released after receiving treatment for their injuries with the exception of the one receiving treatment at IGMH.
Four individuals were arrested in relation to the violence that occurred near Dharubaaruge and have been remanded in custody until the end of the police investigation.
