Dead body found in Hulhumalé lagoon

A corpse has been discovered in Hulhumalé lagoon on Monday, September 11.

According to Maldives Police Service the victim, a 55-year-old man, had gone missing while fishing in the lagoon outside Hulhumalé 2.

Authorities have confirmed that the man was deceased when he was transported to Hulhumalé Hospital. The police are currently investigating the case for more details.
