Steel Hardware donates chemical disinfectants to Sri Lanka

Island Mark Hardware pvt ltd, the holding company of Steel Hardware of Maldives has donated a consignment of chemical disinfectants worth approximately 3.7 million Sri Lanka Rupees to Sri Lankan hospitals.

Island Mark Hardware is one of the leading businesses in the Maldives with an extensive range of hardware products and building materials.

Meeting with the Managing Director of Island Mark Hardware, High commissioner of Sri Lanka, A.M.J. Sajiq, conveyed his deep appreciation to the company for their goodwill and friendship through their donation, during a period of economic crisis in Sri Lanka.

SriLankan Airlines airlifted the consignment of disinfectants to Sri Lanka in coordination with the Ministry of Home affairs of both countries Health Ministry Sri Lanka and High commission of Sri Lanka in the Maldives.

All expenses related to packing, local transportation and cargo handling were borne by the largest transportation and logistics service network in the Maldives, Total Transport Solutions Maldives, a joint venture company of Maldives and Sri Lanka.

A token package of disinfectants were presented at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in the Maldives, with Managing Director of Island Mark Hardware Ali Fauzy, representatives from Total transport solutions and SriLankan Airlines and the High Commissioner of Sri Lank in attendance.
