Adam Naseem (Adam), pivotal in aiding the country's victory at the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Association (CAVA) beach volleyball tournament, believes this achievement honors the nation's volleyball legacy.

On Saturday, Ismail Sajid (Kuda Kaattey) and Adam clinched their second gold medal in the CAVA beach volleyball competition. The duo previously secured a gold medal in the 2022 tournament.

Adam, awarded the Best Maldivian Volleyball Player of the Year at the Maldives Sports Awards last year, acknowledged the challenge of defending the title. The indoor volleyball veteran expressed satisfaction in retaining the championship.

"As mentioned, the toughest part is sustaining victory. It is immensely gratifying to accomplish this. It has provided reassurance to the Maldivian volleyball community," remarked Adam.

Upon their return last night, Adam and Kuda Kaattey were welcomed at Velana International Airport by Sports Minister Abdulla Rafeeu.
