Aasandha Company Ltd on Thursday opened registration to provide services for Maldivians living in Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka.
Providing Aasandha services to Maldivians abroad is one of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s pledges to be fulfilled during the first 100 days of his administration.
In a statement released by Aasandha announced that Maldivians can register at abroad.aasandha.mv to receive Aasandha services.
Additionally, the statement revealed that a camp will be held at Aasandha office in Sri Lanka to create awareness. The camp is set to be held at Sosun Villa, from Friday to Saturday.
Currently, Aasandha services are provided to Maldivians in India and Sri Lanka in case of emergencies only.
As estimated 10,000 Maldivians live in Sri Lanka, and 10,000 more in India and Malaysia collectively.
