KPMG Maldives, local chapter for the globally acclaimed consultancy firm, on Tuesday, appointed State Trading Organization (STO)'s former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mohamed Mihad as an Associate Partner of KPMG in Maldives.
Mihad is the first Maldivian to become an Associate Partner in a KPMG firm.
According to the company, the decision embraces a concept of inclusivity and "being there when the clients need them most".
Mihad, who has served as one of the youngest CFO's in the country, and brings to the firm over 10 years of experience as a finance professional.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University.
