Dead body found in Soneva Jani lagoon

A dead body was found in the lagoon of Soneva Janni resort in Noonu atoll Thursday.

The police said that the reports of the dead body came early that morning and that police are enroute to investigate.

From photographs circulating on social media, the body appeared to be tied to something while the head and legs were seemingly separated from the body due to decomposition.
