The Ambassador and leadership of Ooredoo Maldives engaged in discussions of mutual collaboration and benefits for the years to come.
Qatar's newly appointed Ambassador to Maldives Jassim bin Jaber Jassim Al Sorour, during his visit to Ooredoo Maldives' headquarters in Hulhumalé today, said that Qatar will work to further strengthen its cooperation with Ooredoo in the future.
The Ambassador was received by Ooredoo Maldives’ management, including the company's CEO Khalid Al-Khamadi, who provided an overview of the company’s role in the country's technological field, ongoing projects in the development of the local digital landscape as well as the tech company's future plans.
Ooredoo being a Qatari company, Ambassador Al Sorour reflected on the strong bilateral relationship between Qatar and Maldives, highlighting that Ooredoo Maldives is one of the biggest foreign investments by the country.
During the visit, the Ambassador also met with key teams working on the company's flagship projects, as well as as with employees, learning more about Ooredoo’s initiatives aimed at enhancing digital accessibility and empowering communities across the Maldives.
The visit concluded with commitments from both parties to further strengthen the collaborations between Ooredoo Maldives and Qatar to ensure continued growth and mutual success.
