Ministry of Economic Development's Business Portal has been upgraded to facilitate prompt profile sheets for locally registered businesses.
According to the ministry, registered businesses including companies, partnerships, sole traders and cooperative societies can now self-generate profile sheets from the business portal.
Each profile sheet comes with a unique code which can be used by third parties to verify the profile sheet. The unique code provides verification for third parties such as banks or other services that require formal business documents for account opening or other purposes.
Third parties may use the code to view the authenticity of the profile sheets.
Meanwhile, the ministry encourages the digital approach for profile sheet instead of over-the-counter services from the ministry's premises.
