Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) on Tuesday, issued a yellow alert over central and northern atolls.
The advisory was issued in relation to torrential rain, strong winds and storm surges forecast by MET to regions starting from Haa Alif Atoll to Vaavu Atoll.
