Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun (Dhiraagu) has signed as the official digital partner of the Visit Maldives Pro 2024 - Body Boarding World Tour, marking the second time the company has become the international competition's digital partner.
The competition is a collaborative effort by Maldives Bodyboarding and International Bodyboarding Corporation (IBC), and will be held from today until August 9.
While this is the third time Maldives is participating in the Maldives Pro series of IBC's World Tour, the last two years proved to be very successful.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohamed Mirushaan, Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu, said that the company is pleased to provide high-speed digital connectivity for such an international competition and facilitate showcasing local talent to foreign audiences. He added that Dhiraagu will always support such events.
President of Maldives Bodyboarding Association Hussain Nizam said that with the help and cooperation of Dhiraagu, they were able to host the event as smoothly as they did in the past two years. He added that the competition has established the Maldives as a competitive bodyboarding destination both regionally and globally.
