Ban on Sale of Plastic Water Bottles One Liter and Less Effective Next Month

The Environment Ministry issued a reminder on Wednesday about the upcoming ban on the sale of plastic water bottles one liter, as well as those under one liter, set to take effect next month.

The government has previously compiled a list of single-use plastic items prohibited for import, manufacturing, and marketing, each with its specific timeline for enforcement. Plastic water bottles of one liter or less are the final category of single-use plastics to be banned nationwide, as per this list.
