A Police Media Official said that they received reports last night that some individuals who tried to mug a person were being held near Hiyaa Tower 1 in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The official said that investigations into the matter had revealed that these individuals had, on several other occasions, robbed another individual as well.
Four Maldivian men have been placed under arrest in relation to this case: two people aged 32 years, a 36 year old, and a 45 year old.
The investigation is ongoing, and hence the police declined from providing further details.
