Bank of Maldives has provided assistance to the Maldives Deaf Association in to celebrate International Sign Language Day.
According to BML, the financial assistance provided by the bank to the association was to formulate a Sign Language Dictionary.
The Bank expressed hope that the aid will empower those with hearing difficulties and make it easier to sign.
A Sign language Training Session was also held for BML employees in collaboration with the Deaf Association to mark the International Sign Language Day. The training was conducted to address the difficulties faced by customers with hearing difficulties and provide inclusive services.
BML had previously held a similar session last year.
