A man from Gaafu Alifu Dhevvadhoo who went missing while out at sea has been found dead.
The 56-year-old man was reported missing at around 8:30 A.M. when he did not return from his morning fishing route, the police said.
He was found about a mile away from the island. He was already dead when he was taken to the health centre in Dhevvadhoo.
The police have made no further comments regarding the incident.
