The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has filed a total of five charges against Ali Saahil, 23, for the murder of Shiau Mohamed Saeed, 22.
Shiau, a local musician, was killed and dismembered in an apartment in Malé, on August 6. Local authorities arrested Ali Saahil, a professional skateboarder, at the scene of the crime. Saahil was placed under remand until the end of his trial.
