The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa will host its first-ever Festive Artisan Market on December 22, 2022, from 1 - 5 PM on Kakuni beach of the resort. The festive artisan market, an initiative that focuses on culture and the local community, will feature local designers and artisans showcasing their products.
Visitors will get the chance to pursue the unique goods created by local designers and artisans and get a taste of Maldivian culture through live entertainment and delectable cuisine. The day will also mark the start of the festivities officially with the resort's Tree and Festive Lighting Ceremony.
A spot favoured by many, the resort's gorgeous Kakuni beach will be the venue for the Festive Artisan Market. Participants include the jewellery, accessories, home and living, and premium gifting brand Oevaali Art Shop; the reef-friendly sunscreen company Mula Maldives; the apparel, accessories, scarf, sarong, and bag retailer Island Bazaar; the paintings by Eagan Baadeu at Island Cultures; and the clothing, beach essentials, headgear, and jewellery retailer Toddy.
The local artisans were chosen for their creative, distinctive offers. By giving them a platform to promote their goods, Sheraton aims to highlight local culture and the local community.
