Barceló Nasandhura Malé, a five-star hotel situated on the site of the former Nasandhura Palace Hotel, is set to in quarter 1 of 2025.

Operated by the Spanish hotel chain Barceló Group, the company also manages properties in the UAE, Thailand, and several European countries.
Initially, some apartments were planned for residential use, but they are now being offered at daily rates.
Although the hotel was originally scheduled to open on December 1, minor construction work lead to slight delays in the opening. However, the hotel is committed to welcome its firsts guests during the first quarter of 2025.
Barceló Nasandhura Malé will feature a range of premium facilities including four upscale dining outlets, an oceanfront pool, a state of the art gym and a spa.
Once operational, Barceló Nasandhura Malé will become the largest hotel in the Male' area.
Owned by Nasandhura Palace Holdings (NPH), a joint venture with Maldivian and Sri Lankan shareholders, the company also manages the Barceló Whale Lagoon Resort.
Room rates at Barceló Nasandhura range from USD 270 to USD 350 per night, with a standard Nasandhura room listed for USD 272 on the Barceló website.
