President Muizzu meets with President of Seychelles

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with President of Seychelles Wavel Ramkalawan.

The meeting occurred today during his ongoing trip to Antigua and Barbuda for the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

The President's Office said that both Presidents highlighted the challenges faced by their countries during this meeting, and discussed ways of overcoming them.

The discussions included collaboration in youth related issues, people to people exchanges, Indian Ocean region security, climate change mitigation efforts, coral reef restoration efforts, and the risks of sea level rising.

While both leaders expressed hope for further strengthened bilateral and multilateral relations between the nations, the President of Seychelles assured support for Maldives in a wide range of areas.
