Probe into Immigration officers taking bribes in expat operations

An investigation has commenced into allegations that some Immigration officers are conducting expatriate related work by accepting bribes.

Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusan stated in a post on social media platform X last night that President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has instructed for the strictest action to be taken against those in uniformed institutions who compromise trust in the institution and commit acts that disgrace the uniform.
