President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday returned after concluding his official visit to India.
The two-day visit was made on the invitation of India.
During the visit, President Solih met with the Cricket Board of India and extensively discussed structuring a cricket stadium in Maldives as part of developing the sport in the country.
He also attended the IPL cricket match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.
Additionally, President Solih met with the Maldivian community residing in India during his visit.
Vice President Faisal Naseem greeted the president upon his return.
