Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Dharumavantha Hospital.
Haleem has previously served as the Managing Director at Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) during former President Abdulla Yameen's administration.
Haleem was appointed as CEO at the level of a State Minister. The post was previously filled by Ibrahim Saleem, who served as CEO of Dharumavantha Hospital, as well as IGMH.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has today renamed the 'Male' Hospitals Board of Trustees' to 'City Group of Hospitals Governing Board', which oversees the running of Dharumavantha Hospital, IGMH, Hulhumale' Hospital and Villimale' Hospital.
President's Office has stated that the Governing Board will be run under the guidance of the President, and will be answerable directly to him.
It will be under the administration of the Health Ministry. The President has decided that he will be reappointing members to the board.
