Russia’s charter airline Azur Air has resumed direct flights to the Maldives. Last Friday, the airline resumed service from Moscow to the Maldives for the high season. The flights were discontinued mid March following the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Azur Air will have daily scheduled flights through their aircraft Boeing 767-300 with a passenger capacity of 336 people.
Russia continues to dominate the tourism market of the Maldives with 159,657 tourists to date. Russian national airline Aeroflot also has daily scheduled flights to the Maldives.
