The body of the four month old who died in Kaafu atoll Guraidhoo has been brought back to Male' after post mortem and interred today.
The infant died in Guraidhoo on Saturday night, and the body was brought to Male' as there was believed to be suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. On last Wednesday, the body was sent to India to conduct the post mortem.
Bleeding from the infant's nose when found deceased raised Police suspicions, leading to the decision to conduct a post mortem.
The child was buried at Hulhumale' Cemetery after Asr prayers today.
