Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed has decided to hold another session of his serial "Ask Speaker" program.
Ask Speaker is a live program organized by the parliament at the end of every parliament term. This program has been previously held five time times.
Media and Communications Director of the Parliament Hassan Ziyau had told Mihaaru News that the sixth edition of the Ask Speaker program will be held on December 1.
"Instead of PSM, the program will be conducted in the parliament building this time. There will be space for more people to attend (in the parliament building). As the World Cup matches will be aired during the night, we have decided to air this program during the day time this time," he said.
The parliament said the program will be made available live on TV, as well as social media platforms. This program allows for the parliament Speaker to answer the people's questions live. Questions for the speaker can be submitted via recorded videos or messages. Requesting to ask the Speaker a question live is also possible.
The previous Ask Speaker program was held in June of this year.
