President's Office has disclosed the receipts following the Attorney General’s Office's withdrawal of the prosecution’s appeal to the Supreme Court against the disclosure of receipts detailing the expenses of former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s trip to the United States.
The High Court last year had upheld the Information Commissioner's order for the disclosure of the expenses incurred during Solih's visit to deliver a speech at the United Nations in 2022. The prosecution had appealed this decision at the Supreme Court during the previous government.
