Fathimath Dhiyana, who was serving as a deputy commissioner, has been appointed to the post of Commissioner General of Customs today by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
Dhiyana has been working at Customs for 23 years.
After his dismissal, Maniu has been appointed as a State Minister at Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology.
Maniu served as the President of National Integrity Commission during President Abdulla Yameen's administration. He was appointed as Commissioner General of Customs in November last year.
