Bank of Maldives (BML) on Friday announced that Self-Service Banking was introduced in Muli, Meemu Atoll.
As per the bank, this was part of its plan to expand banking services to support local communities across the country.
BML elaborated that the two new ATM's installed will provide a range of services such as cash withdrawal, cash deposit, cheque deposit and transfer services to individuals and businesses money on a 24/7 basis.
With this upgrade, those who live in this area will be able to utilize banking services without the need to visit a branch, as was the case before.
According to BML, over the past year, they have opened new Self-Service Banking ATM Centres in 10 islands and upgraded ATMs with self-service banking facilities in an additional five islands.
