Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) announced on Thursday that outpatient department treatment (OPD) services will be paused during the Fitr Eid holidays.
Fitr Eid is celebrated on the first of Shawaal after Ramadan ends.
IGMH's specialty OPD and other clinical services will be closed on May 1, a public holiday celebrating International Worker's Day, and Fitr Eid as well. Inpatient Department Care (IPD) and Emergency Services will be available during these days as well.
OPD services will be unavailable during Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. These services will be available between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday though.
According to the calendar, Fitr Eid falls on May 2, Monday. Maldives will have nine days of public holidays as the entire next week are public holidays, bracketed by weekends on both ends.
