1 quarter lime
1/2 onion (chopped)
1 capsicum (chopped)
2 cups flour
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/3 cup cooking oil (I use sunflower oil)
Grated cheddar cheese
Chili sauce
Salt
Pepper
Water
Filling:
- Squeeze quarter lemon into the chopped onion. Mix until onion is transparent and soft.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. If you are using chili (optional), you can add it here. Mix.
- Add in the chopped capsicum and tuna. Mix well.
Dough:
Add salt and oil to flour
Add 1 egg
Add chili powder
Mix the dough, adding water as needed
Preparation:
Preheat oven at 180 degrees celsius
Divide the dough into balls
Spread the dough in a round form, like a 'roshi'
Spread chili sauce evenly, avoiding the edges
Add tuna mix and spread grated cheese
Now roll the the dough from one end to the other, sort of forming a tight wrap
Cut into even pieces and place them on the baking tray
Make eggwash (just a beaten egg), and brush lightly on top of the rolls
Bake until golden brown
This recipe makes about 25 rolls
