Maldives Meteorological Center (MET Office) has cautioned the public over possibility of bad weather conditions amid upcoming Eid holidays.
Moreover, the authority has issued out a yellow-alert for atolls between Laamu Atoll and Addu.
MET Office claims that the region in question is likely to experience strong rain followed by thunder while wind speeds are expected to pick by 45 miles per hour.
Meanwhile an official from the authority speaking with Mihaaru News confirmed strong gusts are likely to be experienced nationwide from Saturday, next week.
The official further speculated the condition to remain without any change at least for the following four days.
