Bank of Maldives (BML) introduced the American Express Platinum Card, at Kurumba Maldives on Thursday.
Launched by the Minister of National Planning and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam, the card offers exclusive privileges, travel benefits and lifestyle experiences.
BML CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer expressed his delight "to launch the new American Express Platinum Credit Card which sets an international benchmark of world-class card privileges and unparalleled value for our customers".
Commenting on the partnership between BML as the exclusive issuer and merchant acquiring partner, Vice President and business head of Global Network Services of American Express South Asia, Divya Jain, stated that its "long association with Bank of Maldives since 2004 is a partnership we cherish and respend".
"We are confident that this superior product and the aspirational value of our brand will help attract more loyal customers to the Bank".
BML's nationwide network comprises of 37 branches across 20 atolls, 49 Self Service Banking Centres, 113 ATMs, 5,700 Point of Sale merchants and 277 agents and a suite of Digital Banking services.
