Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure of Maldives has on Thursday awarded the road development projects of three islands, Haa Dhaalu Atoll Makunudhoo, Raa atoll Maakurathu and Thaa atoll Madifushi to Road Development Corporation (RDC) of Maldives.
Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure of Maldives has on Thursday awarded the road development projects of three islands, Haa Dhaalu Atoll Makunudhoo, Raa atoll Maakurathu and Thaa atoll Madifushi to Road Development Corporation (RDC) of Maldives.
RDC confirmed the official signing of the project agreement between the corporation and Construction Ministry. The agreement was signed by State Minister Ibrahim Thoaam Mohamed on behalf of the Ministry, and Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Nabeeh Afeef on behalf of RDC.
While no additional information on the agreement has been released to the public including the value of the project, RDC is currently undertaking road development projects in 27 islands of the Maldives.
RDC is a state owned enterprise formed formed by a presidential decree in June of 2019 with the aim of promoting the construction of rigid and flexible development of Roads, Repair and Maintenance of Bridges, Building of highways and Causeways.
