President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Wednesday, stated that his administration's inclusive Education Policy aims to further the capacity of children at early childhood.

During the ceremony to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Alifushi School in Raa Atoll, President Solih noted the importance of vocational training within the curriculum, highlighting the need for opportunities other than academic education.

According to the President, true development begins when each member of society contributes to their island communities, adding that the policy adopts a curriculum to nurture such qualities in students.

Although the school celebrated its 50th anniversary, the institution has continued its operation for nearly 80 years.

The president visited the school during his trip to Raa Atoll, which concluded early Thursday. In addition to Alifushi, the president also visited the island of Meedhoo and discussed concerns and issues raised by the councils of the two islands and Ungoofaaru, and Raa Atoll.
