BML establishes ATM Centre in Alifushi

Bank of Maldives (BML), on Sunday, announced the establishment of a self-service ATM Centre in Alifushi, Raa Atoll.

In addition to cash withdrawal facilities, the centre will provide deposit and transfer services to local individuals and businesses on a 24-hour basis.

With the new centre in Alifushi, Raa Atoll currently has two BML branches, two self-service banking centres and cash agents in each inhabited island.

BML Deputy CEO Aishath Noordeen stated, “We are delighted to launch this state-of-the-art Self-Service Banking ATM in Alifushi. It marks another important step in our ongoing investment program to benefit individuals, businesses and communities right across the country”.

In 2018, deposit services were also introduced in Hulhudhuffaaru through a BML cash agent which allows customers to make credit card and loan repayments as well as deposit up to MVR 10,000 per day.

BML manages a network of 37 branches across all 20 atolls, 46 self-service banking centres, 108 ATMs, 5,400 Point of Sale merchants, 277 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.

The bank reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
