The Council released an announcement where they said that old Quran texts, and other religious books in Male' area households can be handed over to them for disposal at arranged times twice a year.
The council will be accepting books for disposal at the end of this month in the first such disposal of the year.
Books for disposal can be handed over at their Public Services Department, VilliMale' Section and Hulhumale' section between 09:00hrs and 16:00 hrs every day between April 27 and May 2.
