Vice President (VP) Faisal Naseem, on Saturday, observed the development of local transportation services in the Greater Male' Region.
According to the President's Office, VP Faisal visited the bus stand currently under development by the State Trading Organization (STO) at the Western coast of capital Male' city.
Moreover, he also visited the premises of the former Dharumavantha School in the Henveiru ward of the capital, where a parking zone was initiated by the Male' City Council.
During his visits, the Vice President met with key stakeholders of each individual project, discussing ways to enhance the local transportation system in the region.
He also urged senior officials of the City Council, as well as STO to carry out the tasks with minimal disruptions to traffic.
Minister of Health Ahmed Naseem, Minister of State for Transport and Civil Aviation Ahmed Adil, Mayor of Male' City Mayor Shifa Mohamed and Minister at the President's Office Ahmed Sameer, accompanied VP Faisal during the visits.
